The South Parklands Creek, which runs through Parks 16-20, is being upgraded for flood mitigation and water quality, this portion involves Park 18, abutting Hutt Street. The road runoff from Hutt Street is taken into a bioretention swale and treated before entering the waterway. The South Parklands Creek feeds into the Brown Hill Keswick Creek catchment.
