Overview

Come and see how WSUD is successfully being integrated across a range of scales – from the household to the precinct level – in this innovative urban infill development, as Renewal SA work towards a Green Star Community rating.   A presentation, incorporating the 3D development model, by the project managers will be followed by a walk through the streets of this new urban community with liveability and sustainable water management at its core.

Biographies

Andrew Bishop, Manager Sustainability, Project Delivery, Renewal SA

Andrew has over 21 years of experience in the residential property development industry, including delivery of major land development projects. He has experience in the creation of high quality, master planned, sustainable and community focused residential and commercial projects. He is a Green Star Accredited Professional with experience in accreditation of 5 Star Green Star buildings in the Bowden Development.

Steven Porch, Project Manager Delivery, Renewal SA

Steven has more than 13 years of design, construction and project management experience in the delivery of infrastructure, land development, and streetscape projects in both private and public sector settings. With a background in civil engineering he currently manages the delivery program at the South Australian government’s flagship Bowden project. The Bowden Development is delivering South Australia’s first shared streets whilst fulfilling the Government’s objectives of high quality inner city development, density and urban renewal.
